AIE Seattle Interactive Experience Day - March 18th

Considering a career in games, 3D or VFX?

Discover the courses designed to get you started in game development, 3D animation and visual effects for film at AIE’s Open House. AIE Seattle and AIE Lafayette will be opening their doors to visitors eager to find out about AIE courses starting in 2017.

The day will include presentations on different areas of industry as well as information about AIE courses and entry requirements. Student work will be on display and our teachers will be available to speak with you about how AIE can get you into a creative career.

Open House will start at 10.00am and finish at 2:00pm.

  • AIE Courses and Career Pathways

    Description Time
    The games and film industry continues to grow significantly in both the United States and overseas. During this session, participants will be given an in-depth analysis of the industry as well as detailed information on the courses that AIE offers, and the application process. 10:30am

  • 3D Animation & VFX for Film

    Description
    3D artists create all the amazing visual content we see on our screens. This session will provide an in-depth look at AIE's 3D Animation and VFX course with specific details on each of the units covered in the course. Teachers will also be showcasing work from some of this year's students.
  • Game Art and Animation

    Description
    Game artists create all the amazing graphics in the games you love to play. They are responsible for creating the characters, environments, all the visual effects plus a range of other tasks that impact on the visual style of the game.
  • Game Programming

    Description
    Programmers are the wizards of the future! Game programmers are instrumental when it comes to creating the framework, functionality and interaction in a game.
  • Alumni & Industry guest speakers

    Description
    Each campus will be hosting an AIE alumni speaker who will be sharing their experiences of what life is like working in the games/film industry. Check the tab below to see who is speaking at your local campus.
